Guest reviews

We love it when our guests leave a nice comment, and always welcome feedback. 2020/2021 obviously was quiet at the start, but we did (and continue to) receive some nice feedback (after Covid-restrictions lifted - historial reference!):

24/4/22 What a lovely cottage in a quiet and beautiful hamlet. Two lovely walks from Brinton to Thornage, with streams and covered in wild garlic and bluebells when we were on it - magical. The other one down the lane from Brinton to Gunthorpe where we saw lots of hares also wild Primrose which were beautiful. We recommend the Hunnybell for Sunday lunch also cookies at Salthouse, seafood anywhere - cash is taken, no cards.

Cottage is cosy and has everything you need very enjoyable stay

4/11/22 thank you for a nice couple of days in the property. Lovely part the UK and we were lucky with the weather. Thank you again

10/9/22 lovely week in a lovely cottage handsome Great late summers day by the beach in Wells, Holkham and Sheringham even swam in the sea. Amazing ice cream Sundays at swirls in Wales, neighbour recommended Norfolk seafood larder in Briston for fish and seafood. We had a lovely late breakfast at Wiverton Hall café looking across the fields of the sea. With two small children so the games and books were a lovely surprise which they loved. Thank you.

9/22 stayed for three nights for a 20th wedding anniversary lovely stay cosy cottage thank you

We have had a lovely week with warm dry weather most the time we would particularly recommend a trip to Gressenhall near Dereham which was a former workhouse museum and the Blicking estate is also worth a visit or tthe Hunworth Bell with offers excellent food

30/7/22 wonderful week - thank you so much

30/8/22 lovely cottage in a relaxing location. Enjoyed a four night stay. Would recommend Wells next to sea - it's worth the walk to the sand dunes

8-15/ 7/22 we have had such a lovely week. The cottage is so beautifully decorated and well equipped. We've loved the box of books, (well the kids have!) The Stairgate is very much appreciated, as is the gro blind. We've had so much fun at the beach, (Wells plus Sheringham) we loved the steam museum at Thursford, and a lovely Blickling hall. The only thing we suggest is the summer duvets as it's been so very hot this week! We've had a truly wonderful family holiday – thank you so much big highlight was the steam train

june22 lovely cottage. Watch out for 1. deer and woodpeckers in the garden 2. your head on the door, you'll see which door!

1/7/22 we've enjoyed a comfortable week in this sweet cottage. Bought the bicycles. Norfolk is ideal cycling territory. Up to the coast + Binham Priory + ( Walsingham interesting whether you're catholic or not!)
